64-Year-Old Arlington Restaurant Opens Maryland Location

The Broiler, renowned for its steak and cheese as well as Thin Crust Square Pizza (Maryland Style Pizza), has been a staple in the DMV since 1959. After 64 years at 3601 Columbia Pike in Arlington, VA, the restaurant proudly introduces its second location in Clinton, MD (Prince George’s County) at 9021 Woodward Rd.

The recently opened establishment received acclaim from popular food reviewer “Big Schlim” and offers a diverse menu featuring an emphasis on steak & cheese and pizza.

Per The Broiler: “It all started when founder Irv took a chance and purchased a garage/gas station on the Pike with his life savings and started serving the community with delicious and high quality food. With the hard work of Mr. Khalid and team, we have maintained the same high quality ingredients and old fashion vibes that makes Broiler THE Broiler. Since 1959, we have served thousands of steak & cheese subs to multiple generations of families who have made it a tradition, whether they’re minutes or hours away, to stop by and take out some Broiler.”
