Last June, we reported that Quincy’s had officially signed a lease to open its new concept, Quincy’s Club House, at 245 Kentlands Blvd. This country club-style restaurant, bar, and golf venue will occupy the space previously held by Not Your Average Joe’s. A permit for $990,000 to begin alterations on the site was approved this past spring, and ownership now anticipates a September/October opening in Fall 2024.
Abramson Construction is currently handling the fit-out work for the new location. The space was cleared following an auction for the contents of the former Not Your Average Joe’s in the spring. According to our earlier report, Quincy’s fans will be pleased to know that the original Quincy’s, located a few miles away at 616 Quince Orchard Rd, will remain open. The ownership believes that both locations are viable due to their different concepts and has no plans to close the existing bar and grill.
