Taco De Birria by Rice Bar has officially opened at 14 Bureau Dr in the Diamond Square shopping center in Gaithersburg. This new spot takes over the space previously held by Rooh Bistro, which operated briefly in 2020.
The menu features a variety of options including tacos, tostadas, burritos, quesadillas, soups, and ice cream. The restaurant specializes in birria tacos, which are traditionally made with meat that has been slow-cooked or braised. These flavorful tacos are served with a side of the cooking broth, known as “consomé,” perfect for dipping.
In addition to the new Gaithersburg location, Taco De Birria also operates a branch at 1300 2nd St in Washington, DC.
