Genki Wagyu House and Molly Tea have signed leases to occupy a space at Twinbrook Quarter in Rockville, near the future Wegmans at the corner of Festival Street and Rockville Pike.
Genki Wagyu House, which operates as Genki Izakaya in Fairfax, VA, is planning to open its Rockville location in 2025. A representative from the Fairfax restaurant confirmed that the Rockville branch will offer all-you-can-eat Wagyu, a premium beef experience.
Molly Tea, a tea franchise originally from Shenzhen, China, will share the space with Genki Wagyu House. Molly Tea specializes in Jasmine tea, inspired by the “Four White Flowers of the East,” with a focus on high-quality mountain tea leaves scented with fresh flowers. Their goal is to promote the beauty of Chinese tea culture through their beverages.
In addition, Terra Gaucha, an authentic Brazilian steakhouse (Churrascaria), is also set to open at Twinbrook Quarter, located at the corner of Festival Street and Chapman Avenue. The restaurant will be situated behind the upcoming Wegmans, which is expected to open in early 2025 as the grocery store’s interior fitout is currently underway.
