LionRock Cafe, a Hong Kong-style cafe located at 13 Dawson Ave. in Rockville, has announced via social media that it will be closing its doors soon, once it runs out of food and drink.
The cafe opened in late November 2023, taking over the space previously occupied by Hunan To Go. Concerned readers had noticed the restaurant was listed on Facebook Marketplace recently, but the closure has now been confirmed by the restaurant with the following message:
“A Heartfelt Thank You to Our LionRock Supporters! From the very first day, your support has meant the world to us. As we approach the end of this chapter, we want to let you know that all our food and drinks will be available until everything is sold out.
We’d love for you to visit, snap a photo with us, and leave a note to preserve the memories we’ve shared at LionRock Cafe. Let’s celebrate the moments and flavors we’ve enjoyed together. Come say goodbye before we close our doors — we’ll miss you all!”
