Bethesda Bagels has announced on social media that it will be opening a new location at 7951-A Tuckerman Lane, next to CVS, in Potomac’s Cabin John Village.
The family-owned business, which has been serving New York-style bagels since 1982, currently operates three Montgomery County locations: 4819 Bethesda Ave. and 10241 Old Georgetown Rd. in Bethesda, and 14929-D Shady Grove Rd. in Rockville’s Fallsgrove Village Center. In addition to these, Bethesda Bagels has locations in Washington, D.C., and Virginia.
The restaurant was recently featured in the Washington Post’s list of the nine best bagels in the D.C. area. While the opening date for the new Potomac location has not been confirmed, it adds to the growing list of Bethesda Bagels’ popular spots in the region.
