Meow Claw is now open at 1701 Rockville Pike, Suite B-9, in The Shops at Congressional Village shopping center in Rockville. The new shop occupies the space previously home to Snow Bots, which closed in 2022 after an eight-year run.
Meow Claw offers a unique mix of “sweets, gifts, and claw machines.” The menu features a variety of treats, including fruit teas, milk teas and floats, smoothies, cheese foam slushes, ice cream, milkshakes, and milky snow ice. Lined with claw machines, the shop invites customers to purchase tokens and try their luck at the games in hopes of winning prizes.
Inspired by the widespread popularity of claw machines in Asia, which is now spreading across the United States, the majority of the machines are filled with small toys or stuffed animals. One customer shared their experience on Meow Claw’s Instagram, saying, “The workers are really nice! Nice little spot and the claw games are fun and seem pretty fair!”
According to the Meow Claw website, store hours are Monday-Sunday, from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
