The name “Platinum” signifies a commitment to excellence, while “Amala,” a beloved West African dish, highlights the restaurant’s focus on authentic flavors. The menu will feature popular dishes such as Jollof Rice, Fufu, Egusi, and Suya, offering a true taste of West African culinary traditions.

Solaire Social, a 13,000-square-foot dining destination and bar, hosts a collection of artisan food concepts curated by chef and restaurateur Akhtar Nawab of Hospitality HQ. With the motto “Eat. Drink. Be Social,” Solaire Social aims to create a vibrant community space centered around chef-driven cultural dining experiences. It serves as the retail anchor of Solaire 8200 Dixon, a new 27-story residential development featuring 403 units.

Platinum Amala is planning a February opening, bringing a rich and flavorful addition to Silver Spring’s diverse food scene.
