Hangry Joe’s is set to establish a presence at 19730 Germantown Rd in the Shops at Germantown shopping center, marking its latest venture in Montgomery County. Positioned between Acqua Nails and Thrive Pet Healthcare, the forthcoming restaurant will occupy the former Center Cleaners space, adjacent to Safeway. Although construction has yet to commence, a mid-2024 opening is anticipated.
Renowned for its signature “Chicken Sando,” Hangry Joe’s allows patrons to customize the spice level of their fried chicken, ranging from Plain to Angry Hot. The menu extends beyond hot chicken sandwiches, featuring chicken fingers, chicken & waffles, wraps, nuggets, loaded fries, and salads. Accompanying sides include cider slaw, waffle fries, and fried okra. With existing locations in Wheaton, Rockville, and Montgomery Village, Hangry Joe’s is set to bring its distinctive flavors to Germantown.
