Construction at The Clarks Lodge Bar & Grill started in November, marking the beginning of the transformation of the former GrillMarx space at 12011 Snowden Farm Pkwy in Clarksburg.
Owned by the same restaurant group behind The Creek Lodge, which opened at 5566 Norbeck Rd in October 2022, and Brews & Barrels in Gaithersburg’s Kentlands neighborhood, The Clarks Lodge is anticipated to offer a menu akin to The Creek Lodge. The menu is set to feature a variety of options including steaks, seafood, pasta, and a full bar, offering patrons a diverse dining experience (a sneak peek can be seen below).
GrillMarx Clarksburg, which had operated independently of other GrillMarx locations in Olney and Columbia, opened its doors in 2013 but ceased operations in June of the past year. The Clarks Lodge, initially aiming for an early February opening, has now adjusted its timeline, with a March opening in sight. The restaurant is actively seeking employees for various positions, and interested individuals can apply at www.clarkslodge.com.
