A fresh Chick-fil-A concept is set to debut in Maryland later this month.

Update: This article originally featured menu items from the original Little Blue Menu in Nashville. The upcoming College Park location will showcase a distinct menu.

Little Blue Menu, an innovative digital restaurant concept by Chick-fil-A, is set to open its doors at 7242 Baltimore Ave in College Park on Thursday, September 14. Exclusively available for pickup and delivery through online ordering, Little Blue Menu offers a range of menu choices beyond the standard Chick-fil-A fare. These additions include wings, burgers, and sides like onion rings, sweet potato tots, and crispy Brussels sprouts. Operating hours for the restaurant will be Monday through Saturday, from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Little Blue Menu®, a creation of Chick-fil-A®, is thrilled to announce the opening of its College Park location on Thursday, Sept. 14. Paying homage to Chick-fil-A Founder S. Truett Cathy’s original blue menu at the first Chick-fil-A establishment, Little Blue Menu enables customers to order Chick-fil-A classics alongside exciting new options like wings and burgers. Available exclusively through digital ordering, patrons can enjoy Little Blue Menu for pick-up, delivery, and catering.

The Food: Familiar favorites + new noshes

Designed to test and introduce new menu items, Little Blue Menu presents a diverse array of flavors, encompassing Chick-fil-A classics, all crafted under one roof. From crispy chicken wings to straightforward burgers, accompanied by a choice of sides such as golden-brown onion rings, sweet potato tots, and crispy Brussels sprouts, making mealtime decisions has never been more convenient or delicious.

Senior Culinary Lead Developer Stuart Tracy meticulously crafted the menu from the ground up, experimenting with hundreds of recipes to give birth to the new menu items.

“Little Blue Menu is a fantastic opportunity to introduce people to new flavors,” remarked Tracy. “Now more than ever, individuals are seeking easy, convenient, and, most importantly, delicious delivery options, and we’re thrilled to offer that in College Park.”

The Digital Experience

Little Blue Menu provides various options for guests to savor their food, including Little Blue Menu delivery, third-party delivery (Chick-fil-A menu items only), mobile pick-up, and catering pick-up. All orders will be seamlessly placed through the Chick-fil-A® App.

Community Care

Nestled in the heart of College Park, Little Blue Menu aspires to bring ever-changing, fresh culinary experiences to the vibrant community. Prioritizing guest feedback, the establishment aims to evolve its thoughtfully curated menu and enhance the overall customer experience.

“College Park is a hub for innovation, so we can think of no better place to introduce Little Blue Menu and give customers more of what they want,” said L.J. Yankosky, senior director of the innovation and new ventures team at Chick-fil-A. “We can’t wait to serve the community and become an integral part of the local dining scene.”

Empowering the Team

Little Blue Menu aims to be a hub for employment, providing opportunities for approximately 125 full- and part-time Team Members. Valuing its team members, the restaurant will invest in them by offering flexible work hours, leadership growth, competitive wages and benefits, hands-on training, and mentorship opportunities.

Local Flavor Integration

Embracing a Maryland favorite, Little Blue Menu proudly offers OLD BAY® as an option in the Sauces & Seasoning section of the menu. The iconic seasoning adds the perfect touch to menu items, from french fries to sweet potato tots to onion rings.

“Born on the bay and loved across the USA – nothing says Maryland pride like OLD BAY,” expressed Senior Director of Marketing & E-Commerce Luna Ravenna of McCormick & Company. “We’re thrilled to combine the beloved flavors Marylanders know and love with Little Blue Menu’s offerings.”

Community Giving

Little Blue Menu is committed to giving back locally. In celebration of the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of Capital Area Food Bank. Shortly after opening, Little Blue Menu will participate in Chick-fil-A Shared Table®, redirecting surplus food to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks, and nonprofits. To date, more than 20 million meals have been served nationwide from Chick-fil-A Shared Table donations.

Little Blue Menu College Park will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. For the latest news and updates on Little Blue Menu, visit littlebluemenu.com or follow Little Blue Menu on Facebook or Instagram.
