Akira Ramen & Izakaya, situated at 1800 Rockville Pike H1 in the Galvan in Rockville, is currently experiencing a temporary closure for a change in management. The restaurant ceased operations on Tuesday, and while no specific reopening date has been disclosed, a notice posted on the door assures customers of the restaurant’s intention to reopen. Additionally, Akira Ramen & Izakaya is preparing to open a new location adjacent to Ela Mesa Taste of Greece at 109 Paramount Park Drive in the Spectrum Town Center in Gaithersburg. The Rockville restaurant originally opened its doors in 2017.
