Exciting News: Aloha Poke, the Chicago-based poke restaurant chain, is gearing up to open its first location in Maryland, situated in Rockville’s King Farm neighborhood.
While Aloha Poke Co. had previously announced plans for a Gaithersburg location in 2023 without specifying the address, it is currently unclear whether the Rockville’s King Farm spot replaces the initially planned Gaithersburg location.
Aloha Poke is renowned for its fast-casual style, offering fresh and flavorful bowls filled with sushi-grade fish and Hawaiian-inspired raw ingredients. The restaurant already has a presence in Washington, D.C., located at 1333 19th St NW.
Mary Grace Barnebey, the franchisee bringing Aloha Poke to the community, expressed her commitment to providing delicious and healthy options aligned with her values. She highlighted the franchise support system and the brand’s focus on fast, beautiful, and sustainable foods. Aloha Poke Co. CEO, Chris Birkinshaw, is eager to expand into the Maryland suburbs, anticipating a warm reception from residents interested in clean eating and health-minded food options. The new location promises to introduce the people of Gaithersburg to the signature Crunch Bowl and other delightful offerings.
