Last month, Donohoe Commercial Real Estate (DCRE) announced that Kensington’s BabyCat Brewery will be the newest retail tenant at Gallery Bethesda, located at 4800 Rugby Ave.
Sam Mussomeli and Terry Redmond, MoCo residents, launched BabyCat Brewery at 10241 Kensington Pkwy in late 2022. The brewery, founded with a passion for nature, pets, family, and craft beer, aims to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests to enjoy high-quality beverages and a comfortable environment.
Scheduled to open in late 2024 or early 2025, BabyCat’s Bethesda location will offer both indoor and plaza seating. The new space will feature a range of local craft beers, specialty foods, and entertainment options.
Don Konz of DCRE commented, “BabyCat is a fantastic addition to our building and the neighborhood. We are excited to welcome a MoCo-born craft brewer to Bethesda and believe this venue will be a major draw for both residents and locals.” Further details about the grand opening will be announced soon.
DCRE’s Don Konz and Bert Donohoe represented Gallery Bethesda in this deal, completing a series of agreements that have fully leased the retail space to tenants including HotWorx, The DripBar, Baruch Café, and Keller Williams.
