Champions Sports Bar is undergoing a transformation into Mercury Lounge in the upcoming weeks. The establishment, located at 9433 Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring, opened in October 2020. Previously housing Action House Vape & Hookah, the venue, listed for sale at $185,000, is now pending a sale. Destiny Real Estate Holding Company, LLC, represented by Teko Clavet, has applied for a liquor license transfer to operate the new establishment, Mercury Lounge. A hearing with Montgomery County’s Alcoholic Beverage Services is scheduled for Thursday, October 19th at 10:30 am in preparation for the transition.
