Chipotle has announced the opening date for its new location at Rock Creek Village Center, located at 5504 Norbeck Rd., Rockville, MD. This restaurant will feature a “Digital Pickup” drive-thru lane, following the success of its digital-only restaurant at 13801 Outlet Drive in the Briggs Chaney Marketplace in Silver Spring, which opened last year.
According to a sign on the restaurant’s window shared by Tricia C. (@iixxtriciaxxii on Instagram), the new Chipotle location is set to open on Thursday, October 24th. The sign reads, “This restaurant is not quite ready to open yet. Come back on 10/24/24 at 10:45 am and we’ll make you that delicious burrito you were craving. We promise it’ll be worth the wait.”
This concept, also known as “Chipotlane,” has a dining room, but requires you to order through the Chipotle app in order to use the “Digital Pickup” lane. There will also be outdoor seating at the restaurant.
