According to a report by Source of the Spring, construction has started at the upcoming Taco Bell Cantina located at 8662 Colesville Road, neighboring the Fillmore Silver Spring and opposite Ellsworth Place. This site was formerly occupied by Pollo Campero until its closure in late 2021. Renowned for its high-speed service, tech-oriented features such as kiosks and digital menu boards, Taco Bell Cantina offers a diverse selection of alcoholic beverages alongside the traditional Taco Bell menu. The drink menu includes various beers, wines, sangria, and Twisted Freezes, tailored to each location. While an exact opening date remains undisclosed, the restaurant is anticipated to bring its lively atmosphere and unique offerings to the area.
