Construction Initiates at Future Gregorio’s Location in Park Potomac

In September 2021, it was reported that Gregorio’s Trattoria would be expanding with its third Montgomery County location, and fourth overall, at Park Potomac, taking over the space formerly occupied by Sugo. After some delays, construction has now commenced at the upcoming restaurant.

As first reported by Store Reporter, the construction process involves the landlord replacing the HVAC system in the Park Potomac space. Although there is still work to be done, the restaurant is aiming for an opening later in 2024 (exact date not available).

Gregorio’s Trattoria originated in Reston in 2008 and later opened a second location in what is now Cabin John Village in Potomac. The restaurant expanded its presence in Montgomery County with the opening of a second location at the Shops at Sumner Place in Bethesda in November 2020, occupying the space that was formerly home to China Pavilion. For those concerned about the future of the Cabin John Village location, it has been mentioned that Gregorio’s has signed a new ten-year lease to remain in the shopping center.
