Here’s the revised version of the article:
In January, we reported that Chopt (18123 Town Center Dr) and Mezeh (18129 Town Center Dr) are both “coming soon” to Olney. Construction has now begun at the Chopt location, while Mezeh appears to be gearing up to start work soon, as indicated by activity around the outside windows.
Although a specific opening date is not yet available, an early 2025 launch seems likely. The most recent Montgomery County locations of both fast-casual restaurants experienced delays, taking over a year from the initial announcements to opening. Chopt will be occupying the space formerly held by Moss Chiropractic in the Fair Hill Shopping Center.
Chopt, known for its made-to-order salads, bowls, and wraps, also has locations in Bethesda, Gaithersburg, Potomac, and Rockville. The menu features a variety of ingredients, including falafel, tofu, panko-fried chicken, and shrimp. Mezeh will be moving into the space previously occupied by The Olney Winery in the same shopping center.
