D.P. Dough Set to Return to College Park Next Week

After an absence of nearly four years, D.P. Dough is set to make a comeback in College Park, MD on Monday, December 18, with the opening of its new location at Terrapin Row (4200 Hartwick Rd.).

In January 2020, just a few months before the onset of Covid restrictions, D.P. Dough bid farewell to its patrons, stating, “It’s not goodbye. It’s see ya later. After serving calzones for 20 years in College Park, we will be closing our doors for the last time Thursday night. It’s been an amazing journey, but all good things must come to an end.” This message left fans of the calzone spot, which had operated in College Park for two decades, wondering about the timing of that “later.”

On Tuesday, December 12, the restaurant shared the exciting news on its Instagram page: “D.P. Dough College Park is RETURNING! 12.18.23 @ 4pm! 4200 Hartwick Rd. Suite D. We can’t say thank you enough as we are truly excited to announce our reopening! We have been working hard to ensure we provide the excellence that is D.P. Dough back to hungry University of Maryland students and our community in College Park!”
