Wiseguy Pizza is set to inaugurate its first establishment in Montgomery County at the Wheaton Mall food court on Wednesday, September 20. Situated in the former Angel’s Pizza space, Wiseguy offers stone-deck oven-baked pizza by the slice, crafted with imported Italian ingredients, homemade sauces, and dough using a specialized water filtration system. Pizza selections feature classics like Cheese and Pepperoni, along with unique options such as Paneer Tikki, Nashville Hot Chicken, Chicken Parmesan, and Whitestone.
While Wiseguy Pizza already boasts four locations across D.C. and Virginia, this marks its initial venture into Maryland. Thompson Hospitality Group, the force behind restaurants like Matchbox and Willie T’s Seafood Shack in MoCo, acquired all Wiseguy locations in 2022. According to Wiseguy’s website, the restaurant is slated to open this summer.
