National Cheeseburger Day, falling on Monday, September 18, brings a flurry of discounts from restaurants nationwide. Check out the list of participating eateries and details on some of Montgomery County’s renowned burgers. Note: This compilation will be updated as more restaurant promotions are announced.
- BurgerFi: Purchase a Coca-Cola Freestyle Beverage at BurgerFi and add a BurgerFi Cheeseburger for $3. The signature cheeseburger features two Angus Beef patties, American Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, and Fi Sauce. Dine-in only. Locations in Gaithersburg, North Bethesda, and Silver Spring.
- Burger King: Royal Perks program members can get a free cheeseburger with any $1 purchase.
- Caddies: Caddies on Cordell in Bethesda offers half-priced burgers all day on Monday, featuring two 4oz patties on a brioche bun.
- Dog Haus Biergarten: Text “cheeseburger” to 833-440-1110 to get a $5.99 burger at Dog Haus. Locations in Bethesda, Gaithersburg, and Silver Spring.
- Hornet’s Nest Grille: In Damascus, Hornet’s Nest Grille offers half-pound burgers with choice of cheese for $9.
- McDonald’s: Double Cheeseburgers are $0.50 when ordered through the McDonald’s app, no additional purchase required.
- Soko Butcher: Soko Butcher in Takoma Park offers “Soko Smashed Burgers” for just $5.
- Wendy’s: From September 18-22, Wendy’s offers its Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger for $0.01 with any purchase through the Wendy’s Rewards App.
In June, the Washington Post ranked Steeze Burger, owned by Laytonsville resident Hunter Karametos, as the #1 burger in the D.C. area.
