Dunkin’ is set to establish a presence at 8455 Fenton St, occupying an available retail space on the ground level of the Central Silver Spring apartment complex. Although construction has not yet commenced, an opening timeframe for the store has not been disclosed.
In addition to this, as previously reported, Dunkin’ is also slated to take over the former location of $2.49 Cleaners at 12196 Georgia Ave. in Wheaton-Glenmont, situated on the same block as Trippy’s Tacos and Seafood in the Buff and in close proximity to Popeyes. Dunkin’ has been actively expanding in Montgomery County, with recent additions at the Layhill Center (14328 Layhill Rd) in Silver Spring and the Goshen Crossing Shopping Center in Gaithersburg/Montgomery Village, where it has repurposed the former Capital One Bank building at 20000 Goshen Rd. As of last December, Dunkin’ has been continuing its extensive nationwide and local expansion, with an additional four locations currently in progress and the likelihood of more to follow.
