Dunkin’ is Expanding With Four New Locations in MoCo

Dunkin’ has been on an expansion spree in Montgomery County, recently opening new locations at the Layhill Center in Silver Spring and the Goshen Crossing Shopping Center in Gaithersburg/Montgomery Village. The latter is housed in the former Capital One Bank building at 20000 Goshen Rd. As part of its ongoing nationwide expansion, Dunkin’ has four more locations in the pipeline for Montgomery County.

In Rockville, Dunkin’ is set to occupy 1,500 SF in the back half of the building that previously housed Capital One Bank at 9761 Traville Gateway Drive. This location will feature a drive-thru, and the anticipated opening is slated for late 2023 or early 2024. Meanwhile, a new Dunkin’ is coming to 2 Wisconsin Circle in the Chevy Chase Metro building. It will be located in suite 100, formerly occupied by Karin’s Cafe. The rendering suggests electronic ordering boards and a walk-up window. Another Dunkin’ is planned for 8500 Connecticut Avenue in Chevy Chase, with a conversion of part of the existing building. This location won’t have a drive-thru. Opening dates for the Chevy Chase locations are yet to be announced.

Additionally, Dunkin’ has submitted a site plan to transform an existing building at 17700 Muncaster Rd. in Derwood into a new 2,500 SF Dunkin’ location. Details on whether it will include a drive-thru are yet to be disclosed.
