Dunkin’ is set to celebrate the grand opening of its latest location in Rockville, located at 9761 Traville Gateway Drive, on Saturday, May 11. Commencing at 9:00 a.m., the first 100 guests in line will be rewarded with Free Coffee for a Year. The newly established Dunkin’ outlet occupies the 1,500-square-foot rear section of the building formerly occupied by Capital One Bank.
In collaboration with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, local franchisee network Luis Group Management will kick off the festivities with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:00 a.m. Following the ceremony, a $3,000 grant will be presented to Driven to Cure to aid in their efforts to raise awareness and funding for research into rare kidney cancers affecting children and young adults. Additionally, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., attendees can partake in free giveaways from the Dunkin’ Prize Wheel, enjoy appearances by Dunkin’s mascot Cuppy, and indulge in face painting.
The new Rockville location boasts several exciting features:
Modern Design: The design elements, including openness, colors, and materials, create an inviting and energetic atmosphere.
Premium Pours: Dunkin’s signature cold beverages, such as iced coffee, iced tea, Cold Brew, and Nitro-Infused Cold Brew, are now served via an innovative tap system, ensuring consistently cold drinks. Hand-crafted beverages are also available, prepared using top-quality espresso machines.
Dunkin’ on Demand: Integrated digital kiosks allow guests to place orders with or without assistance from crew members. Additionally, a designated area for mobile pickups enables Dunkin’ Rewards program members who order ahead via the Dunkin’ Mobile App to enjoy expedited service.
Increased Energy Efficiency: The Next Gen restaurant design adheres to DD Green Achievement™ specifications, incorporating sustainable and efficient elements such as LED lighting, high-efficiency mechanical equipment, and low-flow faucets. DD Green Achievement restaurants are surpassing expectations, boasting an average energy efficiency improvement of 33% compared to conventional Dunkin’ outlets.
Spanning 2,000 square feet, the new restaurant employs approximately 20 crew members and operates daily from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. It features a drive-thru and offers complimentary Wi-Fi. Luis Group Management, which owns and operates 26 franchises across Maryland, including the Rockville location, oversees the operations of this establishment.
