In September 2021, we announced that Gregorio’s Trattoria would be opening its third location in Montgomery County (MoCo) and fourth overall, at Park Potomac, taking over the space formerly occupied by Sugo. Sugo had permanently closed its doors in the summer of 2021. Gregorio’s Trattoria is now officially open at this new location.

An employee confirmed that the restaurant opened its newest branch two days ago. Additionally, a call to the nearby Cabin John Village location verified that it will continue to operate as planned.

Gregorio’s Trattoria began in Reston in 2008 and later expanded to Cabin John Village in Potomac. The restaurant opened its second MoCo location in November 2020 at the Shops at Sumner Place in Bethesda, taking over the former China Pavilion space, which had been there for over two decades before closing nearly three years ago.
