Hangry Joe’s has officially opened its doors at 19730 Germantown Rd. After hosting a ribbon-cutting celebration on Wednesday, July 17, the restaurant welcomed its first customers on Thursday, August 15th.
Located in the strip mall next to Safeway, Hangry Joe’s occupies the former Center Cleaners space, nestled between Acqua Nails and Thrive Pet Healthcare. The popular chain is famous for its signature hot chicken sandwiches, the “Chicken Sando,” which lets customers choose their preferred spice level, ranging from Plain, Mild, and Medium to Hot and Angry Hot.
The menu extends beyond just chicken sandwiches, featuring options like chicken fingers, chicken & waffles, wraps, nuggets, loaded fries, and salads. Sides include cider slaw, waffle fries, and fried okra. Hangry Joe’s also has several other locations in Montgomery County, including Wheaton (2533 Ennals Ave), Rockville (718-B Rockville Pike and 10050 Darnestown Rd.), and the recently opened Montgomery Village (19290 Montgomery Village Ave).
