Hangry Joe’s, located at 19730 Germantown Rd in the Shops at Germantown shopping center, is set to open its doors on Wednesday, July 17. The grand opening will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce at 12 p.m.
The restaurant is situated on the strip next to Safeway, in the space previously occupied by Center Cleaners, and is located between Acqua Nails and Thrive Pet Healthcare. Hangry Joe’s is renowned for its hot chicken sandwiches, known as the “Chicken Sando,” and offers a range of spice levels for the fried chicken: Plain, Mild, Medium, Hot, and Angry Hot. The menu also includes chicken fingers, chicken & waffles, wraps, nuggets, loaded fries, and salads. Sides on offer are cider slaw, waffle fries, and fried okra.
Hangry Joe’s has additional Montgomery County locations in Wheaton (2533 Ennals Ave), Rockville (718-B Rockville Pike and 10050 Darnestown Rd.), and recently opened Montgomery Village (19290 Montgomery Village Ave.)
