Lone Oak Farm Brewing Company (5000 Olney Laytonsville Rd in Olney) would be launching Fallen Oak Distilling. Set to open this fall, Fallen Oak will offer an “exquisite range of spirits, meticulously crafted for the discerning palate,” accompanied by a unique “hidden cocktail experience.”
Named in honor of the brewery’s cherished Oak tree, the construction of Fallen Oak Distilling has been steadily progressing on the Lone Oak grounds in Olney, with an anticipated opening later this fall. The distillery will feature state-of-the-art equipment and a space that embodies the passion and dedication synonymous with Lone Oak Farm Brewing Company. This new venture will enable Lone Oak to continue its tradition of delivering award-winning products, enhanced by a “hidden cocktail experience” accessible through an entrance concealed behind a bookcase.
The hidden experience, reminiscent of a speakeasy, will include custom-built leather furniture, a large bar, a fireplace, a tasting room, an elevated dining experience, a stage area for live jazz performances, and much more.
“This project is a significant milestone for us. We’re thrilled to combine our love for this land with our ambition to create something unparalleled in our community. Our spirits will be crafted with precision, designed to take your taste buds on a journey,” says Ralph Mollet, co-owner of Lone Oak Farm and Fallen Oak Distilling. From ground to glass – served on the rocks or neat – Fallen Oak Distilling promises to deliver the finest spirits in the region.
Lone Oak Farm Brewery is locally owned and operated. Co-founders Chris and Charlie Miller, graduates of Magruder High School, teamed up with Ralph and Ryan Mollet of Gaithersburg to establish the brewery, which has been providing great times for over four years.
We’ll keep you updated as the distillery, tasting room, and “hidden cocktail experience” approach their grand opening.
