Exciting Update on Kusshi Sushi’s Expansion: Following our earlier announcement in October about Kusshi Sushi taking over the space previously occupied by the popular Sushi Damo at 36G Maryland Ave in Rockville Town Square, co-owner Wesley Yao has shared further details.
Construction for the new Kusshi Sushi location is scheduled to commence in mid-January, with the restaurant aiming to open its doors by the end of Spring 2024. Kusshi Sushi, which already boasts additional locations in Pike & Rose and Downtown Silver Spring, as well as in Arlington Pentagon Row and Tysons Pike 7 Plaza in Northern VA, is set to bring its unique offerings to Rockville.
The restaurant is currently in the process of obtaining final approvals, and according to Yao, everything is progressing smoothly. With renovations on the horizon, Kusshi Sushi is eagerly anticipating its newest addition to Rockville Town Square. Stay tuned for more updates as the project unfolds.
