Denizens, the brewery with a location at 1115 East-West Highway in Silver Spring, recently announced the permanent closure of its Silver Spring taproom. The closure was scheduled for Sunday, October 22nd. Co-founder and owner Julie Verrati shared the news through a video on social media. The Silver Spring taproom opened its doors in 2014, and the Riverdale Park, MD location will continue to remain operational.
In the video message, Julie Verrati expressed gratitude for the community support over the past ten years, marking the end of an era for the Silver Spring location. She assured customers that the commitment to high-quality beer, service, and food would continue at the Riverdale Park location in Maryland. The full video can be seen here.
