Great News: Ledo Pizza Corner Shoppe has expanded its presence with the opening of its fourth Montgomery County location at Giant Food in Gaithersburg’s Kentlands neighborhood, situated at 229 Kentlands Blvd. and serviced by Ledo Pizza on Darnestown Rd.
This marks another milestone for Ledo Pizza, which introduced its first Montgomery County Corner Shoppe location in Olney earlier this year, followed by the Orchard Center Corner Shoppe and the third Corner Shoppe within the Burtonsville Giant.
The concept of the “Ledo Pizza Corner Shoppe” was initially launched inside a Giant Food store at 1649 Crofton Center in Crofton, MD (Anne Arundel County) this past summer. The Corner Shoppe offers take-and-bake pizza, allowing customers to take home a frozen pizza to bake themselves later. Additionally, the store provides hot pizzas fresh from the oven.
Ledo Pizza, which originated near The University of Maryland in 1955, has experienced remarkable growth since its inception, expanding from a single location to over one hundred locations across Maryland, D.C., Virginia, South Carolina, West Virginia, and Florida. Ledo Pizza is recognized as a pioneer of “Maryland Style Pizza.”
