Longtime DMV Restaurant, Open for 64 Years in Virginia, Expands with New Maryland Location

The Broiler, a long-standing establishment known for its steak and cheese and Thin Crust Square Pizza (Maryland Style Pizza), has expanded its presence after 64 years at 3601 Columbia Pike in Arlington, VA. The restaurant has opened a second location, this time in Maryland.

The new Broiler location is situated at 9021 Woodward Rd. in Clinton, MD, within Prince George’s County. The restaurant recently received the stamp of approval from popular food reviewer “Big Schlim.” The menu at The Broiler features a variety of subs, with a significant emphasis on steak & cheese, along with pizza offerings.

According to The Broiler, its story began when founder Irv took a chance and invested his life savings to purchase a garage/gas station on the Pike, serving the community with delicious and high-quality food. With the dedication of Mr. Khalid and the team, The Broiler has maintained the same commitment to high-quality ingredients and old-fashioned vibes that make it a longstanding favorite. Since its inception in 1959, The Broiler has served thousands of steak & cheese subs to multiple generations of families, becoming a tradition for many who make it a point to stop by and enjoy the offerings.
