Earlier this year, USA Today set out to discover the best new restaurants across the country. To compile the list, the national newspaper enlisted a panel of food and travel experts who nominated their favorite new restaurants that had opened in the past year. Then, readers voted for their top picks to determine the winners. The Farmhouse Bistro at The Crossvines, located at 16601 W Willard Rd in Poolesville, MD, earned a spot on the list, ranking #9 in the nation. A video of the experience is available below.
The Crossvines opened in the summer of 2023. Local food enthusiast, Mr. MoCo, a strong supporter of the restaurant, shared his positive experience: “Farmhouse Bistro has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat in MoCo. The burger was one of the best I’ve ever eaten (that’s bacon and onion jam on it), and the fish and chips were the best I’ve ever had. This is one of the few places where everything was good, so I recommend trying anything on the menu.”
