Kura has officially opened at 12266 Rockville Pike in Federal Plaza, marking its first location in Maryland. The 3,325-square-foot revolving sushi restaurant has moved into part of the space that formerly housed Chuy’s and, before that, Ruby Tuesday, located next to the recently opened Torchy’s Tacos. Owner and founder of The MoCoShow, Mr. MoCo, stopped by to show support for the new restaurant (video here).
Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is described as “the ultimate eater-tainment dining experience serving up authentic Japanese cuisine through an engaging conveyor belt system packed with prizes, drink delivery robots and more.” The soft opening runs from October 5th to October 7th, between 12pm and 9pm, with regular hours starting on Tuesday, October 8th.
