Mykonos, a longtime favorite in Rockville, is expanding with a new restaurant set to open in Potomac’s Cabin John Village. The new location will take over the former Broadway Pizza space, which closed at the end of 2021. While a specific opening date hasn’t been announced, it’s expected to launch in the coming months.
The addition of this Potomac restaurant will not impact the original Mykonos location in Rockville’s Congressional North Plaza, which will remain open. As construction progresses, Mykonos is scheduled for a beer, wine, and liquor license hearing with ABS on Thursday, January 16 at 10:30 a.m.
Mykonos also operates Gyroland, a fast-casual sister restaurant located at 1701-B3 Rockville Pike. Opened in 2017, Gyroland offers a menu featuring customizable sandwiches with lamb, beef, pork, or chicken, as well as Greek platters, salads, appetizers like tyrokafteri (spicy feta dip), and more.
