In late September, Naz’s Halal inaugurated its fifth Montgomery County location at 7671 New Hampshire Ave in Takoma Park. The restaurant is hosting a Grand Opening celebration, featuring complimentary food, from 12 pm to 2 pm on Saturday, October 7th. The new location occupies the space previously held by Banagricola De El Salvador. Additionally, earlier this year, Naz’s Halal opened its fourth MoCo location at 11209 New Hampshire Ave in White Oak, taking over the former site of White Oak Dry Cleaners.
Naz’s Halal boasts a diverse menu, offering rice platters, sandwiches, gyros, wings, salads, burgers, and more. The expansion beyond New York started in MoCo with the Burtonsville Town Center location, situated next to Tropical Smoothie Cafe. This initial branch, launched in August 2020, has become a local favorite, particularly for its late-night hours. Subsequently, the restaurant expanded its presence in MoCo, opening additional locations in Rockville and Germantown.
