Permanent signage has been erected for Hangry Joe’s at 19730 Germantown Rd in the Shops at Germantown shopping center.
Set to occupy the strip adjacent to Safeway, Hangry Joe’s will fill the space previously occupied by Center Cleaners, nestled between Acqua Nails and Thrive Pet Healthcare. Presently, construction is underway, with an anticipated mid-2024 opening.
Hangry Joe’s is renowned for its hot chicken sandwiches, famously dubbed the “Chicken Sando,” allowing patrons to customize the spice level of the fried chicken from Plain to Angry Hot. The menu features an array of offerings including chicken fingers, chicken & waffles, wraps, nuggets, loaded fries, and salads. Side options include cider slaw, waffle fries, and fried okra.
With additional Montgomery County locations in Wheaton (2533 Ennals Ave), Rockville (718-B Rockville Pike and 10050 Darnestown Rd.), and the recent addition of Montgomery Village (19290 Montgomery Village Ave.), Hangry Joe’s continues to expand its footprint in the region.
