Charleys Cheesesteaks opened today at 13617 Connecticut Ave. in the Aspen Hill shopping center, marking its third location in Montgomery County this year. The restaurant, with over 600 stores nationwide, has expanded its menu concept to include chicken wings and ice cream alongside its signature Philly cheesesteaks. Charleys’ first location began in 1986 near Ohio State University, evolving from Charley Shin’s discovery of the Philly cheesesteak during a family trip to New York City.
