Rincon Peruano, located at 210 E Diamond Ave in Olde Towne Gaithersburg, has undergone a rebranding and is now known as Chicken Bar. Although the switch occurred a few months ago, new signage featuring the updated name and logo has recently been installed.
Chicken Bar offers a menu with various items, including ceviche, tamales, arroz chaufa, lomo saltado, and pollo ala brasa (charbroiled chicken). The restaurant also features live music and karaoke during the weekends.
In other Olde Towne Gaithersburg news, DMV Empanadas closed its location at 113 E Diamond Ave on December 17. However, the company has announced plans to open a new location “very soon” at 560 N. Frederick Ave. (formerly Kogi Grill) in the Gaithersburg Square shopping center. Updates on the opening will be provided once information is announced.
