Fire Pit Brazilian Barbecue, which launched its food truck at 804 Rockville Pike in October 2022, is expanding with a second location at the upcoming Solaire Social Food Hall in Silver Spring. The family behind the venture, led by Gonzalez, is gearing up for this new establishment less than a year after the truck’s opening. The Washington Post and Source of the Spring reported on the plans, highlighting the appeal of Fire Pit’s casual and affordable approach to Brazilian churrasco. The food truck operates from Tuesday to Saturday, 11 am to 7 pm, offering a menu featuring Brazilian BBQ specialties such as picanha, beef ribs, pork ribs, and chicken. Sides include options like rice, potato salad, farofa, black beans, or a vinaigrette salad, accompanied by various drink choices. The expansion to Silver Spring aligns with Fire Pit’s goal to provide a modern and accessible take on Brazilian barbecue. A menu available here.
