Sense of Thai to Open in Bethesda

Sense of Thai, which debuted its first location in Ashburn, VA in 2015 and is soon opening a second in Chantilly, VA, has announced plans for a new restaurant at Westbard Square in Bethesda, according to The Burn.

Sense of Thai is known for its authentic Southern Thai cuisine, featuring chic decor, upscale casual dining, and craft cocktails. The menu boasts unique items such as Peking Duck Quesadilla, Pad Thai, Crispy Whole Fish, Chili-Garlic Pig (pork belly), and Braised Pork Ramen.

Per the restaurant’s website: “At Sense of Thai, our dishes are inspired by the bold and spicy flavors of Southern Thailand, where our Chef Owner Porntipa Pattanamekar is from. Known for its vibrant fusion of Eastern and Western influences, Southern Thai cuisine features unique ingredients like fresh seafood, aromatic herbs, and robust spices.”

The new Bethesda location is expected to open in Spring 2025. Stay tuned for more updates as additional information becomes available.
