In December, we shared that Sixty Vines—the restaurant known for its revolutionary wine-on-tap program and vineyard-inspired cuisine—is making its way to Maryland with a Gaithersburg location. The restaurant is now hiring a general manager to lead its upcoming location at 212 Ellington Blvd, the former home of Pour House.

In December, we shared that business filings showed Gaithersburg’s Downtown Crown neighborhood as an address for a “Sixty Vines Montgomery County, LLC” taking over 212 Ellington Blvd—the former home of Pour House. The restaurant is currently advertising its general manager position on LinkedIn, with the base pay listed at a range of $75K-$110K.

Sixty Vines has nearby locations in DC’s Foggy Bottom neighborhood on Washington Circle and in Reston, VA. The restaurant invites guests to sip and savor 60 different wines on tap selected from wine country regions around the globe. At the time, a representative from Sixty Vines on social media told us, “At this time I can not provide any information,” but a representative from the Reston, VA, location told us that a Sixty Vines restaurant is scheduled to open in Gaithersburg in October 2025. Kite Realty, which owns and operates the Downtown Crown retail development, did not have a comment.

Per the restaurant, “Sixty Vines also offers chef-driven dishes inspired by the seasons and made with fresh, local ingredients—perfect for wine pairing. Most locations offer an immersive dining experience, featuring indoor and patio seating, a full bar, and third-party delivery for those who don’t want to leave the house.”
