“Just in time for summer, your newest tropical escape awaits!” The Tiki Bar and Grill at the Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian Center (9751 Washingtonian Blvd), overlooking the Rio lakefront, will open to the public on Thursday, May 2nd.
The newly established Tiki Bar is set to welcome guests from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM every Tuesday through Thursday, offering a delightful selection of classic tiki cocktails such as the iconic Blue Hawaiian and Mai Tai. Alongside these beloved libations, patrons can savor an array of Polynesian-inspired dishes, including Coconut Shrimp and Poke Bowls, as outlined in the full menu accessible below the video.
Per Tiki Bar: “For tiki connoisseurs, take a seat at a table on our patio and watch the show as our skilled mixologists shake up classic tiki cocktails.” The bar menu will feature favorites including the Mai Tai, the Blue Hawaiian, and Zombie- all made with freshly pressed juices and premium spirits.
Curated by Head Chef Bea Legaspi, the menu boasts grilled specialties infused with the exotic flavors of Polynesia, utilizing locally sourced ingredients to enhance each dish. Diners can delight in signature offerings such as mahi-mahi fish tacos, fire-grilled chicken wings, or the classic Hawaiian burger, adorned with grilled pineapple and the chef’s renowned teriyaki sauce.
Situated within a captivating ambiance, the Tiki Bar and Grill features a towering 19-foot mural, designed to transport guests to the enchanting realms of the South Seas upon entering. With picturesque views overlooking the lake, patrons can unwind amidst serene surroundings, making it an ideal setting for socializing or enjoying an evening under the stars. Accommodating up to 70 guests, the venue also caters to private events and signature celebrations, offering a seamless integration with the adjacent ballroom for expanded gatherings.
