Sushi Legend in Germantown to Close

Sushi Legend Cajun Seafood & Bar, located at 19961 Century Blvd in Germantown, will be closing permanently at 10 pm on Christmas Eve, December 24th, 2023. The restaurant, which has been open for less than a year, occupies the former site of Greene Turtle. The closure is attributed to the expiration of the restaurant’s lease.

A post on the restaurant’s Facebook Page announced the closure, expressing gratitude to valued customers and apologizing for any inconvenience caused. The final day of service is scheduled for December 24, 2023.

The building, previously home to Greene Turtle, was available for sale and eventually settled on December 17th, 2021, for $3 million. Jim McGinnis, of Restaurant Brokers & Developers, represented the sale of the building. In early 2022, signage for “Four Seas Restaurant” was installed on the building, but the restaurant never opened. The closure of Greene Turtle in Germantown was confirmed in the summer of 2020.
