Temporary Closure Planned for Mon Ami Gabi for Comprehensive Spring Remodeling

Mon Ami Gabi Bethesda is gearing up for an extensive remodel this spring, temporarily halting operations at the restaurant that has been an integral part of the community since 2002.

Situated at 7239 Woodmont Ave, amidst the vibrant Bethesda Row, Mon Ami Gabi is helmed by Executive Chef Andrew Fleischauer. Known for its repertoire of French bistro classics and inventive spins on traditional favorites, the restaurant has long been a beloved dining destination. While the exact commencement date of the remodel remains pending, the community can anticipate the rejuvenation project to kick off this spring. Though the reopening date is yet to be finalized, it is anticipated to take place prior to the culmination of the year.

In accordance with federal regulations, the company has filed a notice of the layoffs under the Worker Adjustment Retraining Notification (WARN) Act, which mandates certain employers to provide advance notice of business closures and large-scale layoffs. To support affected employees, all staff members have been offered the option to temporarily transfer to other Lettuce Entertain You restaurants. Furthermore, they will retain the opportunity to return to Mon Ami Gabi in Bethesda upon its anticipated reopening.

The full statement issued by the restaurant can be accessed below:
