Tequila Modern Mexican, located at 11 N Washington Street in Rockville Town Center, is set to open soon. The restaurant, which took over the space previously occupied by Trapezaria, a Greek restaurant that had been in operation since 2013, is almost ready for its debut. Tequila Modern Mexican opened its first location in Harrisonburg, VA, about a year ago.
The interior of the Rockville location is undergoing the final stages of construction, with significant renovations giving the space a new look. Trapezaria, which had been serving Greek cuisine since the summer of 2013, permanently closed on March 11, 2023. The closure was announced on Trapezaria’s social media accounts, expressing gratitude to loyal customers and inviting them for a special last brunch and dinner.
As Tequila Modern Mexican prepares to open its doors in Rockville, patrons can expect a new dining experience with a focus on modern Mexican cuisine.
