The Halal Guys, located at 522 N Frederick Ave in the Gaithersburg Square shopping center, has permanently closed its doors. However, the Halal Guys branch at 891 Rockville Pike remains open for business.
Originally established as a hotdog cart in 1990, The Halal Guys transitioned to offering chicken, gyro meat, and pita wraps just two years later. Their first brick-and-mortar restaurant debuted in New York in 2015, and since then, the company has expanded to over 100 locations worldwide.
