The 75th Annual Montgomery County Fair goes until Saturday, August 17th and the top three food items were crowned at this year’s Fair Foodie Awards hosted by MoCoShow founder Mr. MoCo.
The Fair Foodie Awards were originally scheduled for Friday, August 9th, but the opening of the fair was delayed by one day due to severe weather and the awards went down one day later. Due to scheduling conflicts, not all of the judges were available on Saturday, but three judges were able to provide their rating for taste, presentation, and creativity on a scale of 1-5.
A list of all the food that can be found at this year’s fair can be seen on the MoCoShows website. The totals from the Fair Foodie Awards were tallied and and the top three were announced:
3. Chicken Bacon Ribbon Fries by Strates
2. Churro bites topped with ice cream, fresh strawberries, Nutella, bananas and whipped cream by Churros Inc.
1. Crabby Seafood Fries by Smokey’s Legendary Grill
