Yelp’s annual Top 100 Places to Eat list celebrates local restaurants across the U.S. that showcase the diverse tastes of the Yelp community. The list includes everything from upscale dining to food trucks and taquerias. For 2024, three Maryland restaurants secured spots on the list, ranked 20th, 82nd, and 87th. Nominations for the 2025 list will open on October 1st.

#87: Pho Bac (Baltimore) – Specializing in authentic Vietnamese cuisine, Pho Bac delights diners with locally sourced ingredients. Popular dishes include pho (a noodle soup with meat, herbs, and vegetables, also available in seafood or vegetarian versions), banh mi (a crispy baguette with savory fillings), and braised tilapia served with garlic sauce, caramelized onions, and black pepper.

#82: M&N’s Pizza (Bethesda) – Known for its fusion of Indian flavors and classic pizza, M&N’s offers unique options like the Aushak Pizza, inspired by Afghan dumplings with spiced ground beef and yogurt drizzle, and the vegetarian Dal Makhani Pizza, topped with a creamy lentil curry and extra cheese. They also serve Indian curries, such as Chicken Vindaloo and Achari Lamb.

#20: Ekiben (Baltimore) – Famous for its fried chicken bao buns, this Asian-fusion spot has earned rave reviews, with over 1,500 5-star ratings on Yelp. While their menu is packed with creative dishes, the crispy, seasoned fried chicken has been their standout, helping Ekiben grow from a humble hot dog cart in 2014 to three locations in the Baltimore area and a 2nd-year-in-a-row ranking on the Top 100 US Restaurants list.

Nominations for the 2025 list will open to the entire Yelp community on Monday, October 1st at Top100.Yelp.com. The nominations period will close on Sunday, October 14th. All restaurant nominations must have a Yelp business page to be considered.
